Dr. Darin Iverson, a practicing orthodontist since 1997, earned his dental degree, as well as his specialized post-graduate certification in orthodontics, from the UCLA School of Dentistry.
A native of Las Vegas, Nevada, he chose to join the oral healthcare field because of his own experience as a patient. Undergoing orthodontic treatment as a teen had a significant impact on his smile, his confidence, and his oral health. It was one of the best gifts his parents gave him, and he wanted to be able to provide that same gift to others.
Dr. Iverson strives to stay current on the latest developments, findings, and treatment modalities for patients. This helps to make treatment efficient, and helps ensure ideal timing and treatment to meet each patient’s individual needs.
In his spare time, Dr. Iverson enjoys traveling, camping, surfing, exercising, snowboarding, and watching movies. He lived in Bolivia for two years during his undergraduate years and is fluent in Spanish. In recent years, Dr. Iverson has developed an interest in studying languages and is currently working on Italian, French, and Portuguese. He also loves spending time with his family. Dr. Iverson has been married to his wife Tammy for 29 years, and together they have raised one daughter and three sons. He hopes one of his children will someday choose to become an orthodontist so that they can work together.
My 13 yo got her braces on today and it was a fabulous experience from start to end. Jaime was caring and took plenty of time with her, swapping between mom mode and hygienist without missing a beat. Both Drs. Iverson and Wahab put brackets in her mouth and were kind and patient. After this first visit, I would highly recommend.
I went to Iverson years ago (pre-COVID) and I have been wanting to come back. Unfortunately the insurance I had through my job at the time was not in network. When they called me and told me, I was crushed. I have major anxiety and especially with dentists and he and his staff were just the best!!! They made me feel comfortable and safe the whole time. The asked me questions, broke down prices that would affordable to me (I needed braces) and just pleasant all the way around! I still get emails from them all these years later and I don’t plan on unsubscribing anytime soon lol.
We are new at Iverson and Wahab and we absolutely love them! Easy to get an appointment, clear explanation of what’s needed, an even more clear cost explanation and payment options. Fantastic practice! And everyone is so nice!
My three sons got Invisalign today with Dr. Wahab and Dr. Iverson. They were so professional and friendly. They have the perfect combination of gentle, friendly and expertise. We highly recommend their practice!
We’ve had a great experience with Iverson & Wahab Orthodontics.We’ve seen both Dr. Wahab and Dr. Iverson, and they’re both wonderful. We recently finished treatment and are so happy with the outcome. We’d absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for an orthodontist.
